What a fantastic exhibition it was at Kew Gardens 22-27th Oct.

This is the last time all 20 scrolls were displayed together before they travel India for the Silk River India walk.

For those that couldn’t make it, here are some photos from the week, and some of the social media posts.

Huge thank you to the team at Kew Gardens that helped make it such a success, all the artists that created the scrolls, the performers, photographers and presenters as well as the Crafts Council of West Bengal for sourcing such a high quality silk.  More on the silk story can be found here.

And of none of it would have happened at all without the core funding of the project from Arts Council England, and the support from the British Council during the UK/India 2017 cultural year.
